Desktop vs App
If you’ve used the IQ Option desktop app, you’ll know that the software provides a huge range of trading options, tools, tips and more to help you fully maximize your experience.
You’ll be glad to know that all of these features are also available on both the iOS and Android app, too! Whether you’re looking for a specific chart or asset type, IQ Option has you covered.
One handy feature of the app is that the app trade room mirrors your desktop trade room, so there’s no need to reconfigure your trade room to the way you like it. You can literally take your personalized trade room anywhere without the need to worry about its setup.
Charts, tools and indicators
If you’re experienced with using the IQ Option desktop software, you’ll know just how vast the selection of charts, indicators and tools really is.
Well, these features aren’t just exclusive to the desktop version. You can also find them on both iOS and Android apps. Choose from candles, bars, lines and more, to make the most of your trading experience. Regardless of whether you’re into technical analysis tools or maybe something simpler, you will find tools to cater to your exact needs.
If you’re new to the trading world, one of the most exciting features is the Demo account. With this, you can test the waters before committing fully and get a feel for the trading environment within the app. We will explain how to do this shortly.
How to download the app (iOS & Android)
One way to download the IQ Option app is directly from the IQ Option website.
Alternatively, you can download the apps from both the App Store on iOs and Google Play Store on Android.
Once you’ve downloaded the app to your smartphone, click the IQ Option icon to open the app. From here, you’ll find the sign-in page, where you can either register for a new account if you’ve never used IQ Option before, or alternatively, you can sign in with your existing account credentials.
There are a number of ways you can create an account.
If you’ve never used IQ Option before, the sign-up process is quick and easy. Simply fill in your information required and you’re ready to go! We recommend starting with the Demo Account to familiarize yourself with both trading and the app’s environment, we’ll explain more next.
Making your first trade
You’ve signed up and you’re ready to dip your toe into the world of trading!
If you’re completely new to trading, we recommend the Demo Account at first, in order for you to get comfortable. The Demo Account is a great way to get acquainted with the trade room environment, as well as getting to grips with the various tools, charts and indicators available to you. Your Demo Account will be credited with $10,000 in virtual cash, but do remember to use this as if it was real money.
You can start by choosing an asset to trade (forex or digital options might be a good starting point) and use this to work on your trading skills. At a later stage, when you feel you are ready to progress and you are making profitable trades, you can open a real account.
If you’re an experienced trader, you can deposit money into your account by clicking the drop-down arrow in the top right-hand corner, where it says ‘Real Account’.
From here, you will be able to see your balance, investment, net profit/loss and your total. Underneath you will see the ‘Withdrawal’ and ‘Deposit’ buttons, you should click deposit if you want to add money to your account.
Once you’ve clicked the deposit button, it will bring you to a list of payment methods. Some of these include AdvCash, Neteller, Skrill, Visa/Mastercard and many more. Once you’ve chosen your payment method, choose the amount you wish to add to your account and fill in the information required by your chosen payment method.
Once you’ve done that – your money will be deposited and you’re ready to make your first trade!
Additional features
There are a number of super useful tools included in the app to help support you and your trading strategy.
On the left side of the trade room interface, you will find six icons, each with their own unique and helpful functions.
If you click on the Calendar icon, this will open the market analysis tab. This is a continually updated news widget that will help notify you of any news developments that could affect or potentially assist you in selecting an asset to trade.
On the Play icon, you’ll find a whole host of incredibly supportive and useful video tutorials, from the trading basics all the way through to technical analysis.
